I heartily 2nd those emotions!

I got to see 6.24 & 6.30, & had close friends at the others. After the single occurrence Darkstar from the Greek in '84 & the '85 Greeks being The 20th anniversary shows, I didn't think it possible that they would play Cryptical again. The Cinci Comes a Time caught us all off guard (crypt>drumspace>CaT>O1>Cryptical). MWP's was my 1st front row show (2nd set only, that is) & I hope you all know of that set (& know it well).

Thanks for the reminder to listen to that Starlight '85 again (though I like '82 better: it's one of my favorite 'wish-I-were-there' shows).

BTW I'm listening to the DDP10 April 15, 1970 as I write this....

I attended 6/30/85 as well. But I certainly dont get what all the hype is about. Cryptical was very poorly played in 1985. They should have left well enough alone and kept the song retired. The '85 renditions are a travesty compared to 1968-1972 performances of the song...

Don't you mean 1971...(~9/23/72~)
But I was only 9 in 1971...& a rural TN lad at that
I *agree with you* that'85 ones were a stretch perhaps, but they *were* stertching & I got to see a couple of them.

Peace & Love Brother
